Hello hello!!!

As you can see I have not posted on this blog in a while.  I have added the RSS Aggregator so you can see my blog entries on my Myspace site and other exciting RSS feeds.

I seem to keep my Myspace site up to date more. It’s just so easy. And yes I am addicted like no other. But of course I will do my best to post more on both.

Please check back, I will post new pictures soon.

Just when it’s needed most…

I run into Tony at Starbucks during my friend and I’s first meeting outside of Men’s group about a week and half ago.  To give you a little background, Tony and his family are fulltime missionaries.  Their website is located at freedomseed.org.  They minister all over the US.  His family led us into Mexico last February.  It was ironic to run into Tony at Starbucks in Sioux Falls at the moment when we were talking about our vices and nonchalantly laughing about them.  He definitely gave us a good insight on living or should I say “trying” to live a good Christian life.  As most of you know, I was saved December of last year.  And I must admit, it doesn’t get easier, i.e., to live the “pure” life, especially when most of my friends aren’t Christians.  And some of my friends that are Christians don’t live the “pure” life themselves.  One of my vices is falling into traps of partying and or drinking on weekends (same as my friend).  I tell myself I will have two or three drinks but usually end up with ten or more, not knowing it.  And spend the next two days paying for it mentally and physically.  Some of you might say that isn’t much at all (especially for a single guy).  Correct, but I know this is not how I want to spend my free time and or direction I want my life to head.  And for some reason, I now feel guilty about it the day after.  In addition, consuming over 2000 some calories in a single night and then turning around and say I want to promote a healthy life style just isn’t right.  Anyways, after about five hours of conversation (and tons of great wisdom from Tony) I came to the conclusion that I need to make a choice on how I want to live my life.  It’s black or white, and nothing gray about it.  I think our meeting with Tony was an obvious divine intervention as our initial conversation at Starbucks would have lead us to the bars.  I also ran into my friend’s mom during our conversation and Sarah (ex) shortly after Tony left.  It was quite the weird experience at Starbucks and thought I would share the obvious that we sometimes miss in this “On Demand” world that we live in.
